Today’s storm here in Michigan reminded me how violent the storms in Venezuela were. The one we saw today was nothing compared to the ones I used to live when I was a child in Puerto Ordaz, or even after I married my husband and lived for a while in MaturĂn.
The sky could turn into the most bizarre colors and out of the blue a courtain of furious water would jump out of no where. But in that “we are preparing to rain” clouds the most amazing colors of the sunset would also appear.
All these came into my mind this afternoon when I was watching outside the window how the rain was pouring and I remembered having some pictures of scenes in Venezuela, particularly in the plains of Venezuela.
This scene brings back so many good and not so good memories of the one that once was my home, Venezuela.
