May I invite you to the largest lavender farm in the midwest.......in Northern Michigan. Lavender Hill Farms is located at 07354 Horton Bay Road, Boyne City, MI. We are on the 45th parallel, the same as Provence! Owners, Linda and Roy Longworth, have 4000 plants in several fields, with 15 varieties. Best time for viewing is in July. As we have been busy planting and developing our business, we do not as yet have a website. (Expected in May2008) For reference, you may contact Andy Norman, MSU Extension in Traverse City for information. Over 50 artists visited the farm this past year to paint, sketch and photograph.
