This painting although small in size took me a while to paint, mainly because of the amount of detail it has. I reached a point in which I had to stop thinking about the people I was painting and paint the shapes and colors I was seeing, many times turning the board upside down to focus on the shapes. I found this lady at the Romeo town fair, the small town where Kid Rock is from, this past summer, and as I was taking the picture I thought how incredible and spontaneous the scene was. She’s just sitting in the wagon waiting for her kids.

Esta pintura aunque pequeña en tamaño me tomó algo terminarla, básicamente por la cantidad de detalle que tiene. Llegó un momento en el que tuve que parar de pensar en la gente que estaba pintando y me dediqué a pintar las formas y colores que veía, muchas veces poniendo la tabla de cabezas par apoder concentrarme en las formas. Encontré a esta señora en la feria del pueblo de Romeo de donde Kid Rock es, este verano pasado, y así como tomaba las fotos para inspirarme pensaba que increible y espontánea la escena era. La señora está solo sentada en la carreta esperando por sus niños.
