Chocolate Cake – Painting a Day
Oil on Gessoed Hardboard (Masonite)
6″ high x 6″ wide
available
Is almost 3 am and I can’t sleep, so what better way to relax than entering my studio in the silence of the night when there is no husband looking for something that’s under his nose yet you have to go get it for him, no kids, just you and the paint. But yet I didn’t want to do anything too big, just wanted to relax to go to bed, so I did a quick, very quick study of a chocolate cake. Just basic shapes and blocks of colors. It took me 20 minutes to make it… I might have sweet dreams! =]
