This past weekend we had a friend from Spain visiting us. He stayed with us the whole weekend and of course what better opportunity to drink wine than with friends! so on Sunday night to celebrate we opened a bottle of red wine from Bordeaux. If you haven’t tried a wine from Bordeaux, any wine, make sure to get a bottle, they have really, really good wines! So as the bottle was being opened my mind was flying back in time and I remembered our weekend in Bordeaux. After the night was over I set up a hunt to find the pictures from Bordeaux from one of my upcoming daily paintings. I remembered taking a picture from the balcony of our hotel room. This is certainly not one of my typical cityscapes, there are no trees! but I just fell in love with it. It brings back so many good memories! and the realization that I do miss Europe…. who wouldn’t!?
