Shopping Together Oil Painting and Meet my new puppy Pongo!
Oil on 1/8″ deep Hardboard
6″ high x 6″ wide

A shopping day can be an exciting and a great source of inspiration for someone like me. Mother and teenager daughter shopping at the mall during labor day sales last year.
Un dia de compras puede ser exitante y un gran recurso de inspirasion para alguien como yo. Madre e hija de compras en el centro comercial durante “labor day sales” el año pasado.
After I posted this and went to my studio I realized the post was incomplete! I missed the photo of my puppy Pongo!!!

He’s a black 8 weeks old Newfoundland. This baby was born July 28 of this year, 3 days after my dog Ruffo passed away. I don’t believe in coincidences, they don’t exist, it is just a word to describe what can’t be explained, but this little one is so similar to Ruffo in so many ways that is unbelievable. Maybe he’s Ruffo’s reincarnation or maybe not, who knows, what I do know is that pets for some reason find their way to us and not the other way around…. although we tend to say we found a pet ;o)

Pets do choose you. For us every cat we loose to age we have three show up. My husband and I feel sometimes as we must have been Egyptians in another life with the temple cats to have so many end up at out back door.
PS your work is beautiful.

Hi Eugenia!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and thank you for your comment about my work.
Three cats for everyone you loose to age?? I can’t blame you for feeling like Egyptians. Certainly those little souls know you guys are kind and wonderful with them otherwise they wouldn’t even get close. So great to hear they love your home, especially knowing so many never get to know what a home is and don’t know what a warm bed, love and enough water and food are. God bless you for giving them love and a home.
