Daily Painting, A Painting a Day, Figurative ArtOil on 1/8″ deep Hardboard / Óleo sobre tabla
8″ high x 8″ wide / 20.3 x 20.3 cm

I was with my husband and kids in Windsor, Canada this past winter. The day was really cold and cloudy and the kids needed something warm to drink, so we stopped at a Starbuck, my favorite place of all, for a warm coffee for the three adults and a hot cocoa for my little one. As always when I leave the house I had my camera with me and couldn’t resist to take pictures… well I took quite a few interesting pictures that day just inside the coffee shop. This is one of them. A girl wearing a red jacket with her face buried in a book caught my attention from the other side of the shop. She seemed completely oblivious at what is happening. This painting was done January 2008.
