This is a fairly old painting done March 2007, which I thought was sold! The gallery in one of their reports passed it as sold and sure enough I marked it as sold… extra work for me!… back to the gallery and at auction. To bid please click the link above.
Este cuadro es viejito, teminado en Marzo 2007, que yo creía estaba vendido! La galería en uno de sus reportes lo pasó por vendido y yo pues claro lo marqué como vendido… más trabajo para mi!… regresó de la galería y a la subasta.

Amazing and fun. Hey -you were dabbling into photorealism, Miss Impressionism. What were you thinking? Those sissors should be purple with several other variances! (Just kidding.)
This is really a cool piece, Manuela.

Hahaha!! I know! where are my colors!?!?! but is good once in a while to step out of your comfort zone and explore other techniques, even if in the end you realize you still prefer your old one, messy, bold and all.

Hi Olha!
Thank you for stopping by!
Yes! quite minimalistic and quite realistic, still I prefer my impressionist side of painting, more loose and colorful, where I can get to play with colors otherwise won’t quite go together.

Well, your impressionistic stuff (landscapes) still look more real then some. For me these uber-real pictures are just a clear check that the artist is actually capable of prodcusing classical stuff. Working hard to get there

Hi Olha!
Thank you!
Definitely, even my most impressionist style looks realistic, I want it to look real, but yet different. I want people to note the brushwork instead of the painting to look smooth and silky. Plus my shaky hand is not capable of producing super-real paintings any longer unfortunately.
Thank you again for stopping by!
