To truly enjoy a country I like to go through places and small roads that are not popular for tourists. 100% of the times I find the most amazing locations and the perfect inspiration to paint. This is one of them. An old forgotten road used only by the farmers and citizens of the villages near by, the true Provence if you ask me.

It’s beautiful. I love the depth and color choices. You are just fearless girl! You attack everything with such comfort. ‘Big brushes’- I know. I can’t pick up my brush without thinking of you now and smiling.

Hey Vikki!
Thank you girl! I’m glad I’m putting a smile on your face ;o)
Big brushes and don’t think too much about where to put the paint, let it flow. Let your instincts take your visual inspiration and transform it into the canvas.
This is actually a painting I made last year… one of my galleries had it and just recently gave it back.
