Golden Field – ACEO

Oil on Gessoed 190lb Watercolor Paper
3.5″ x 2.5″ (8.89cm x 6.35cm)

I was cleaning my studio today and found this ACEO and another one that I’ll post tomorrow that I completely forgot about. They were done quite a while ago, but between dealing with pain, the brutal cold of Michigan’s winter and everything else life throws at you, well I just never posted it.
Very rarely I see a gold sky these days, very rarely, I guess because I spend too much time inside the house now, as before I was always either walking the farms or the woods looking for the perfect spot to paint on location (en plein air) or biking with my oldest son along with just plain traveling and taking tons of pictures for inspiration, things that I haven’t been able to do at all since June 5th 2007. It’s been almost 2 years that a stupid car accident changed my life in more than one way, so finding this little painting while my son was helping me clean the studio that I haven’t entered in months was really refreshing.
This little one is offered at auction on my site. Click above to register and bid. Good luck!
