About
Postcards from Around the World, is a painting diary by Italian-Venezuelan artist Manuela Valenti. Her landscapes are inspired by all the places she visited and lived in France, Italy, Spain, America… her still life paintings inspired by her kitchen and small garden. She likes to paint ordinary scenes found in the many places she’s lived in…. a candid moment in the life of the people she happens to encounter.
In September of 2006 she started the discipline of creating a small daily postcard size painting, inspired by the A Painting a Day blog of Duane Keiser. The idea, to create a small affordable painting for friends and collectors worldwide has being quite a challenge and an incredible adventure aside from a wonderful experience for the artist.
The opportunity to share her work with people all over the world avid and new art collectors through her blog has been invaluable and an idea that has been taken by thousands of artists worldwide.
