While in Chicago this past July after getting the results that I didn’t make it to the new reality show for artists, we decided to head to the pier so the kids could have fun at the small fair. Little we know there was a boat show that day so the pier was packed with people, the perfect opportunity to take pictures for my work.

I found this couple at the pier, sitting in a bench looking at the boats little and not so little on the lake.

This painting was truly a challenge mainly for the incredible amount of detail but nonetheless I’m really satisfied at how it came out. For purchase information please click the link above.
