Lost Outside Richelieu, France – working on the front of the car
Having the kids at home sick for the entire week made me fall behind on everything, so now that they are back to normal I have to recover the time I wasn’t at the easel. I’ve been working today non-stop while hubby would take care of literally everything (isn’t he the best?!)
Anyhow, here is the progress on the painting so far. The top picture was taken a few minutes ago and the second one is the progress I had made yesterday night and how it looked this morning before I started painting.
I’m taking my time with the car as you can see. I can’t just use the same technique I use to paint regularly as reflective surfaces need a different approach. Less brushwork is better in this case.
I’m falling in love with this painting!
