Lost Outside Richelieu, France – Working on the Shadows

Good morning! This is to show you what I woke up to. I took the picture really fast as you can see for the glare on the left side (pardon me I’m quite in a hurry this morning!) I made some progress last night, was able to start the shadows (still working on them), the road is almost finished, and the shadows under the car are ready, I love how they came out. From the original picture I’m taking away some elements that I just don’t want to see on the painting as I want to focus the attention on the couple and the car. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it in a little bit and let it dry for a couple of days before applying the varnish ad framing it.
I got an email this morning asking what’s the price of the painting and if I’ll be releasing prints from it. This painting will be sold framed through Peters Street Gallery in Atlanta, and the gallery retail is $3100.00. I’m not sure if I’ll be releasing prints from this painting, but if I do, I’ll be posting the news right here.
