Summer Fun Oil Painting

This sure was a fun painting to do! As I’m counting the paintings for the show, I realized an hour ago, that I’m missing some works, since I have empty frames, the horror! so brush in hand I grabbed a board and started painting a photograph I took this past summer of a boy having fun at one of the beaches in Port Huron, MI with his “pink” inflatable bed. He seemed to be having fun and so did I.
Believe it or not, this painting will be shown at my upcoming exhibit in Atlanta.

Wonderful! I love this… so vibrant and warm. I can almost hear the water splashing on the shore!
