This week I’m offering on special one of my favorite paintings, “Araguaney, Arbol Nacional Venezolano”

For those of you that didn’t know, the Araguaney tree is the national tree of Venezuela (it might have changed thanks to Chavez, but to me and many others is still the national tree). When in season, the tree becomes bright yellow with hundreds of flowers. From the air they are seen as yellow splashes in a green jungle.
