While traveling the back roads of the South of France, we literally stumbled on this quaint small farm. Workers were getting ready to pick the hay rolls when I told my husband "stop! I need a picture!". The light, the composition, the colors were just perfect.

Back in my studio this quick 30 minutes study was produced. Perhaps one day I'll get to paint a much larger canvas in a more refined style.
