This is one of my most favorite landscapes, in my private collection. The perfect la ferme, on the perfect day.

I always say if you really want to know a place, you have to walk through the less visited roads, to really get to know its people and its soul.

This gorgeous farm was sitting on the back roads near the Château d'Ussé, in France. Almost unnoticeable and pale compared to the grandiose castle a short drive. And although I'm all for visiting castles and fortress, I prefer the peacefulness and simplicity of a farm in the most beautiful country of all, after mine, France.
