Finding things to paint for the Daily Painting or A Painting a Day discipline, was sometimes really difficult and trying to get inspired was equally impossible at times. At one point everything became "fair game" and the most weird, at least for me, paintings came out, in a way to help me see the beauty I was surrounded with, which after a while I could see in everything, literally.

This small study, with more detail than previous paintings, of the pair of scissors and just one lonely paper clip, sitting right next to me on my table. The light from my studio lamp shinning the plastic and metal in just the right places. It was nonetheless a fun exercise.
